Why data is processed

For privacy requests, contact kristiaan@starsky.be or jax@starsky.be. STARSKY uses enquiry details to assess and respond to your campaign brief and follow up on the requested service. Where necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, processing supports those pre-contractual steps. Handling business enquiries and maintaining service security may also require legitimate interests, subject to necessity and the rights of the people concerned. Permission to respond to a brief is not permission for unrelated marketing.

With your optional consent, Google Analytics measures website visits, campaign sources, contact clicks, video engagement and campaign briefs successfully received by the website. This helps STARSKY understand website use and enquiries. Rejecting or withdrawing optional Analytics does not prevent use of the website or enquiry form.

Information you provide

The form requires your name, company or agency, business email, campaign brief and permission for STARSKY to respond. Your telephone number is optional. Without the required details, the form cannot accept a campaign brief. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry and avoid sensitive personal information.

How long information is retained

Enquiries are retained for 365 days and reviewed quarterly. STARSKY applies this review to private WordPress records and enquiry email copies; any future connected spreadsheet copies must follow the same schedule. The website does not automatically delete records at 365 days. Longer retention requires a documented reason, such as an ongoing matter or applicable record-keeping obligation.

Google Analytics user-level and event-level data is retained for 2 months, without extending the user retention period on new activity. Standard aggregated Analytics reports are not subject to that event-level retention setting. Analytics cookies last up to 13 months without renewal; you can remove them sooner using Cookie preferences. The necessary cookie-choice record lasts up to 180 days.

Who receives information

Authorised STARSKY staff handle enquiries. Website notifications go to jax@starsky.be and kristiaan@starsky.be. Combell provides website hosting and email services. Enquiries are stored privately in WordPress. Google Sheets synchronisation, Google Tag Manager and advertising integrations remain disconnected. Google provides optional Google Analytics only after consent and processes technical visit and event data. Enquiry names, company details, email addresses, telephone numbers, brief contents and submission identifiers are not sent to Analytics. Google Signals, advertising storage and advertising personalisation are disabled.

International transfers

Optional Google Analytics may process technical visit and event data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, on Google and subprocessor infrastructure. Google’s published Data Processing Terms specify applicable recognised transfer solutions or Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary security measures. See https://business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/ (Appendix 3A, section 7), https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/adssubprocessors . This notice does not claim EU-only Analytics processing. Combell provides hosting and email under its own applicable processing terms; this setup does not add any new enquiry export or email/CRM integration. The selected Google Analytics account identifies Belgium as its country of business and records acceptance of Google’s Data Processing Terms on 21 October 2026.

Automated decisions

This website does not use enquiries for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, or for profiling. Technical checks protect against duplicate submissions and abuse; staff assess the enquiry.

Your rights

Depending on the processing and applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact the privacy contact above to exercise your rights.

You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Optional website measurement

Google Analytics 4 is available only after optional consent.

When enabled and accepted, Google Analytics measures page visits, campaign sources, contact clicks, video engagement and successfully received campaign briefs. Enquiry names, email addresses, telephone numbers, companies and message contents are not sent to Analytics. A received campaign brief is not a confirmed sale or appointment.

The Google Analytics tag is loaded only after consent. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled. Analytics cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by a property identifier last up to 13 months without renewal. You can withdraw using Cookie preferences; the website stops measurement and removes its Analytics cookies.

Google processes the technical information needed for Analytics, including browser/device information and network requests. Google Analytics may process data outside the EEA. Google’s published processing terms describe the applicable international-transfer mechanisms and safeguards; further details appear in the international transfers section of our privacy policy. See Google privacy information and Google data processing terms.

Cookie preferences

Necessary storage remembers this choice and remains active.

Your choice takes effect only when the website configuration is ready. You can withdraw optional consent at any time.
